Nashville’s historic Union Station Hotel will present a fresher face to travelers this summer after months of cleaning, restoration and repairs, Nashville Yards developer Southwest Value Partners announced Thursday.
The 120-year-old building, once a hub for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad, first transformed into a hotel in 1986. Southwest Value Partners purchased the hotel — rebranded as The Union Station Nashville Yards to fit into the developer’s neighboring Nashville Yards project — last summer.
“We’re thinking carefully and creatively about the best way to bring The Union Station Nashville Yards back to life, ensuring we’re doing justice to the hotel’s storied past while also making this property more accessible and enjoyable – both for our community and for travelers,” Joe Bucher, Southwest Value Partners director of strategic design, said in a release.
