Earls will open in late 2025 in mixed-use development’s live-music venue The Pinnacle

Nashville Yards co-developers Southwest Value Partners and AEG announced Wednesday that Canadian-founded family-owned restaurant Earls Kitchen + Bar will open within the under-construction downtown development in late 2025.

According to a release, Earls Nashville Yards will operate from nearly 8,600 square feet on the first floor of The Pinnacle, the mixed-use development’s 4,500-capacity indoor live music and event venue positioned near the intersection of Commerce Street and 10th Avenue North (see here). Approximately 90 percent (120,000 square feet) of the retail space in both The Pinnacle and an adjacent Nashville Yards office building to be anchored by CAA is now pre-leased.

This will be the first Earls to open in Tennessee and the 13th location in the United States.

Terms of the lease and the cost to get operational are not being disclosed.

Earls Restaurant Group, which is headquartered in Vancouver, bills the concept as offering “upscale casual dining” led by Chef David Wong.

Earls Nashville Yards will be located adjacent to the aforementioned office building, construction for which continues. The office building rises 11 stories above Church Street with 40,000-plus square-foot floor plates, three levels of retail and restaurant space, and an outdoor vegetated deck overlooking Nashville Yards.

Mark Hladik, Earls Restaurant Group’s president, said in the release that Nashville’s “lively culture and passion for great food and cocktails” are well-suited for the brand, which operates 70 locations throughout Canada and the United States.

Cary Mack, Southwest Value Partners managing partner, added that Earls’ success as an independent restaurant group will be well suited for Nashville Yards.

“Whether for a weekday lunch or … a late-night meal after a show, Earls is approachable, yet sophisticated, and has a great dining experience prepared for everyone,” Mack said.

Earls was represented by John Few of the Newport Beach, Calif., office of Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners in the lease transaction.
