Franklin-based restaurateur Frank Pullara is planning a Nashville Yards location for his Culaccino, with a summer 2025 opening eyed.

According to a release, the Italian cuisine restaurant will take space in the ground floor of mixed-use tower The Emory, with the under-construction building located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Commerce Street and Ninth Avenue North (see the general Nashville Yards site here).

Culaccino will operate from an approximately 6,700 square foot space and feature 20-foot-tall ceilings and a covered patio that wraps the corner of the building. The northern portion of the patio will face the entrance to The Pinnacle, Nashville Yards’ 4,500-capacity live music venue.

Lease terms with Nashville Yards developer Southwest Value Partners and the cost to get operational are not being disclosed.

Pullara, who is from Wisconsin via Naples, Fla., operates Culaccino at 104 E. Main St. in Franklin. He also owns seafood restaurant Culamar (formerly called Bestia Mare) in Franklin.

“We are excited to venture into the vibrant Nashville market and extend our presence with a prime Nashville Yards location,” Pullara said in the release. “This expansion presents us with a wonderful opportunity to introduce our menu to guests who are seeking an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of Music City.”

Leasing at The Emory and The Everett, the two Nashville Yards residential towers offering collective approximately 650 residences, will begin this summer.  The first move-ins are set for November.

Cary Mack, managing partner of Southwest Value Partners, said Culaccino’s “dedication to quality and passion for hospitality perfectly aligns” with the standard Nashville Yards seeks to establish.

“They will be a great addition to the neighborhood,” Mack added.
