Construction is underway on Nashville Yards’ massive entertainment district — here’s a sneak peek of the progress.

Southwest Value Partners, the lead developer of Nashville Yards, and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) are partnering for the 2.46 million-square-foot entertainment district.

Latest plans for the district include:

  • 12-story, 456,000-square-foot building with a movie theater, creative office space, second-level big-box store and ground-floor retail;
  • 4,500-person, 125,800-square-foot event venue;
  • Two residential towers of 34 and 35 stories, which will collectively house 696 units, as well as meeting rooms, food and drink outlets, retail, a gym and a pool; and
  • Pedestrian “paseo” between the four main buildings, lined with outdoor seating, dining and landscaping.

Cary Mack, managing partner of Southwest Value Partners, announced today that the four-story music venue will be named The Pinnacle, sponsored by Nashville-based Pinnacle Financial Partners (Nasdaq: PNFP).

The Pinnacle will feature a main lobby level with retail and dining, and the venue’s stage and balcony will be located on the second and third floors. The performance facility will also feature a private rooftop for concert guests, an artist balcony, as well as multiple bars.

The venue’s entrance will feature a large plaza, and the surrounding sidewalks will be lined with retail and dining. Construction is expected to finish this year, with the first show at The Pinnacle in early 2025.

The music venue is located in the heart of the downtown development, surrounded by the future Pinnacle tower, the CAA Creative Office Building and the two apartment buildings.

Nashville Yards will complete construction on Pinnacle’s new headquarters, which stands 35 stories tall, later this year and will welcome workers into the tower in January 2025.

The 19-acre development at the entryway to downtown Music City also includes two Amazon towers, the Grand Hyatt, the Union Station hotel and more. The project’s total price tag is estimated to exceed $1 billion.
