The deal marks the first naming rights partnership for Pinnacle, a Nashville-based bank with outposts in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, and Alabama.
“This partnership represents Pinnacle’s deep investment in elevating Nashville’s creative community and will further our reputation as one of the world’s best music banks,” said Andy Moats, Pinnacle’s director of music, entertainment and sports.
“The Pinnacle will be an international symbol that shows the music community how the arts and business should work together. Our music banking team will be directly across the street from the venue — visiting artists will be able to see us from the green room balcony. And we’ll be sharing the Nashville Yards campus with AEG Presents and CAA, making this a new epicenter for the business side of Music City.”
“We are so very pleased to extend the excellence of all we are building at Nashville Yards into a deeper association with one of the most outstanding banking and financial services companies in the country,” said Cary Mack, Managing Partner of Southwest Value Partners.
“Pinnacle’s extensive music and entertainment business offerings make them the perfect partner for our world-class music venue, which we are very proud to name The Pinnacle.”
In 2025, the venue will join AEG, CAA, and an 8,500-square-foot outpost of Brazilian churrascaria Fogo de Chao at Nashville Yards, an area set to feature open green spaces, pedestrian pathways, plazas and more.
A press release notes that the space will be an 88,000-square-foot indoor venue with a concert hall that hosts “a diverse array of live events.”
Rick Mueller, President, North America, AEG Presents, has waited for nearly a decade for the project to draw to completion and highlights AEG’s pre-existing work with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans and NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, among many, as highlighting the brand’s commitment to entertainment in the region.
Pinnacle’s visual brand will benefit from an enhanced presence in the Nashville Yards area via the venue naming partnership. This will include fixed interior and exterior logo signs at “The Pinnacle” and year-round digital signage on all Nashville Yards LED network screens.
Nashville Yards and Pinnacle will also entertain visitors with a venue rewards program, custom fan activations, and “curated community events” sponsored by the bank. Those are stated to include a summer concert series, sports watch parties, culinary events, and more.
Pinnacle’s headquarters are on four floors of a 34-story tower at 150 3rd Ave S. in the Nashville Yards area. The bank’s name also appears on top of the building. In 2024, another full-service Pinnacle Bank branch will open in that space.
Pinnacle’s presence at the Nashville Yards also currently includes an all-digital “innovation-focused” bank branch in the base of the first of the two Amazon Towers (20-story and 28-story mixed-use office towers that operate as Amazon’s Operations Center of Excellence).
